The boys: July edition

Since Anthony has been gone the boys have been saying how much they miss him and want him home. Owen got mad at me today and huffed at me saying “I want my daddy back.” I think sometimes he blames me for him being gone. We are doing good though… taking it day by day. The other day I took the boys to the play area in the mall and it was packed! There was one older kid that Owen and Blake played with the entire time we were there. At first the older boy and Blake were playing and I guess Owen didn’t know it because it looked like he was being mean to Blake (they were pretending to be monsters or something) so Owen went over and pushed the older kid and yelled at him “You be nice to MY brother” lol. The kid was like twice Owen’s size so it didn’t faze him and it was pretty funny that Owen just took on this big kid for his brother. A few minutes later, without any grown up intervention, they started playing like nothing happened lol.

Blake and Owen want pets… pretty much any kind of pet. My parents said when they move out East that we can have their dog Genie (who the boys and I, and even Anthony fell in love with when we were visiting WA) and Owen every day says he wants “puppy genie”. A couple days ago he decided he wants Genie AND a cat. I told him I’d talk to daddy but neither of us really wants a cat lol. Owen is stuck on the idea though telling me all throughout the day, in case I’ve forgotten, that he wants Genie AND a cat. Maybe we’ll get a fish in the next couple weeks to entertain them somewhat until we can get Genie.

Blake can’t wait to start school and every bus he sees will say that will be his bus. I’m not looking forward to him taking the bus but both Blake and Anthony have put their feet down that he is taking the bus! I’m sure I will bawl like a baby worrying what is going on; that he gets off at the right stop, will come back home… and I’m sure many other things that I will never say out loud because they scare me too much. Anthony keeps telling me that he will be fine, and reminds me that the school is literally across the street.

Vinny is turning into a little bully; always pushing around Blake and Owen, screaming when he wants something they have, and biting Owen A LOT when he gets mad at him lol. He doesn’t bite anyone but Owen lol. He is also a little daredevil; proof by this picture. Apparently he can climb now lol.

Little piggy just like his daddy!

Our little handy man... with hammer in hand lol

Doesn't he just look so vicious lol.
